Soccernostalgia Talk Podcast-Episode 23 (Uruguay Futbol History with Professor Aldo Mazzucchelli)

For this episode, we start a new interview series with Professor Aldo Mazzucchelli, Uruguayan Author and Football Historian, as we discuss the History of Uruguay Futbol from its origins in the late 19th Century.

Mr. Mazzucchell is a Uruguayan Author and Football Historian as well as University Professor at Universidad de la Republica in Montevideo and formerly at Brown University in USA

He is the author of ‘Del Ferrocarril al Tango, El estilo del Futbol Uruguayo 1891-1930’

We aim to have a series of interviews with Mr. Aldo Mazzucchelli where we will examine the History of Uruguay Futbol from its origins in the late 19th Century, the glory eras of 1920s and 30s, the 1950 World Cup, the importance of Copa Libertadores to Uruguayan Futbol as well as the National Team’s success in 2010s.
