Henning Bjerregaard 
Henning Bjerregaard  was a Danish player who earned a solitary cap, as an AGF player, for his nation in a Friendly vs. Switzerland on September 19, 1954 (1 to 1 tie).
He passed away on October 9th , aged 87.

Carmelo Simeone 
Carmelo Simeone was an Argentine International defender who represented Velez sarsfioeld and specially Boca Juniors.
He earned 22 caps between 1959 and 1966. He was a member of Argentina’s 1966 World Cup squad.
He passed away on October 11th , aged 81.


Roberto Telch 
Roberto Telch was an Argentine midfielder who played most of his career at San Lorenzo.
He earned 24 caps between 1964 and 1974. He was a member of Argentina’s 1974 World Cup squad.
He passed away from a heart attack on October 12th , aged 70.

Daisuke Oku 
Daisuke Oku was a Japanese International, who earned 26 caps between 1998 and 2004.
He was killed in a traffic accident on October 17, 2014, aged just 38.


André Piters 
André Piters was a Belgian International striker who most notably represented Standard Liege.
He earned 23 caps between 1955 and 1961.
He passed away on October 23rd  , aged 83.


Senzo Meyiwa 
Senzo Meyiwa was a South African international goalkeeper who earned 7 caps between 2013 and 2014.
He was killed in a shooting after an altercation in Johannesburg on October 26th, aged just 27.


Leif Gustav Skiöld 
Leif Skiöld was a Swedish footballer as well as an Ice Hockey player. He played for AIK and Djurgårdens during the 1950s and 60s.
He earned all of his 4 caps in 1962.
He passed away on October 27th , aged 79.


Klas Ingesson 
Swedish midfielder Klas Ingesson is mostly remembered as one of the stars of Sweden’s third place finish during the 1994 World Cup. He also represented Sweden in the 1990 World Cup, as well as the 1992 Euros played at home.
He earned 57 caps between 1989 and 1998.
He played for many clubs such as IKK Gothenburg, Mechelen, PSV Eindhoven, Sheffield Wednesday, Bari, Bologna, Olympique Marseille and Lecce.
He passed away on October 29th  from multiple myeloma , aged just 46.

Vladimir Suchilin 
Vladimir Suchilin  was a Soviet player who earned a solitary cap for his nation in a Friendly vs. Argentina in Buenos Aires on November 28, 1976 (scoreless tie).
He passed away on November 2nd  , aged 64.

Giovan Battista Pirovano 
Giovan Battista Pirovano  was an Italian midfielder who spent most of his career at Fiorentina in the 1960s.
He earned a solitary cap for his nation in a Friendly vs. France in Paris on March 19, 1966 (scoreless tie). He came on as substitute in at the start of the second half replacing Giovanni Lodetti.
He passed away on November 8th  , aged 77.


Viktor Serebryanikov 
USSR and Ukrainian international Viktor Serebryanikov starred for Dinamo Kiev and the USSR national team throughout the 1960s.
He earned his 21 caps from 1964 to 1970.
He participated in the 1966 and 1970 World Cups. On May 31, 197, 0 in the opening match vs. Hosts Mexico (scoreless tie), he became the first ever player in World Cup history to be substituted, when Anatoli Puzach replaced him for the second half.
He passed away on November 12th , aged 74.

Válery Mézague 
French-born Cameroonian International Válery Mézague , most notably represnted French clubs, such as Montpellier and Sochaux in the 2000s.
He earned 7 caps for Cameroon between 2003 and 2004.
He was found dead in his apartment, on November 15th , aged just 30.


Ilija Pantelić 
Ilija Pantelić was a Yugoslavian International goalkeeper during the 1960s. He spent most of his career at Vojvodina, then had spells in French Football with Olympique Marseille, Bastia and PSG.
He was Yugoslavia’s goalkeeper in the Final of the 1968 Euros that Yugoslavia lost to Italy.  He earned his 18 caps between 1964 and 1968.
He passed away on November 17th  , aged 72.



Gholam Hossein Mazloumi 
Gholam Hossein Mazloumi  was an Iranian International throughout most of the 1970s. He was one of the stars of Iranian soccer prior to the Revolution and for a long time was the record goalscorer for the National team.
He spent most of his career at Taj of Tehran. He earned his 48 caps between 1969 and 1977.
He passed away on November 19th  from stomach cancer, aged 64.


Aurelio Milani 
Italian striker Aurelio Milani ‘s career spanned the 1950s and 60s. He played for clubs such as Triestina, Sampdoria, Padova, Fiorentina and Helenio Herrera’s Internazionale Milano (1963/65).
He earned a solitary cap for Italy in a Friendly vs. Switzerland on May 10, 1964 at Lausanne (3-1 Italy win).
He passed away on November 25th  , aged 80.

Lucidio Sentimenti 
1940s and 50’s Italian goalkeeper Lucidio Sentimenti, often referred as Sentimenti IV, had long spells at Juventus and lazio, as well as stints at Modena and Vicenza.
Durinh his time at Modena, Juventus and Lazio , his midfielder brother (Vittorio, Sentimenti III) was his teammate.
He earned nine caps for Italy between 1945 and 1953.
He passed away on November 28th  , aged 94.

Jerzy Wilim 
Polish striker Jerzy Wilim‘s career spanned the 1960s and 70s. He played for most of his career at Szombierski Bytom.
He earned eight caps for Poland between 1963 and 1969.
He passed away on December 7th , aged 73.




Blagoje Paunovic 
Yugoslav Defender Balgoje Paunovic‘s career spanned the 1960s and 70s. He played for a decade at Partizan Belgrade and also spent two seasons at Ducth club Utrecht.
He earned 39 caps for Yugoslavia between 1967 and 1973.
He passed away on December 8th , aged 67.


Nicoale Manea 
Romanian striker Nicolae Manea’s played the majority of his career at Rapid Bucharest, interrupted by a solitary season at Steaua. The last few seasons of his career were spent at Gloria Bistrita. His carrer spanned from 1973 to 1991.
He also managed many teams such as Rapid Bucharest and the Romanian Under-21 squad.
He earned a solitary cap for Romania in a Friendly vs. Iran on July 2, 1976 at Tehran (2-2 tie).
He passed away on December 15th of liver cancer  , aged 60.


Ante Zanetic 
Yugoslav midfielder Ante Zanetic spent the majority of his career at Hajduk Split, he then had stints at Belgian Football with Club Brugge and Racing White. Later he moved to Australia as his permanent residence.
He earned 15 caps for PYugoslavia between 1959 and 1960 and most notably participated in the 1960 Olympics that Yugoslavia triumphed and also the 1960 European Championships.
He passed away on December 18th , aged 78.


Ake 'Bajdoff' Johansson
Swedish defender Ake Johansson’s career spanned nearly two decades (1948-1965), entirely spent at IFK Norkopping.
He earned 53 caps for Sweden between 1955 and 1965 and was a member of the 1958 World Cup squad that reached the final played at home (though he did not play).
He passed away on December 21st, aged 86.
