1920s

The frequence of the matches increased in the 1920s. Germany finally won its first match (and away) in 1924. The Germans would be managed for most of the decade and into the next by Professor Otto Nerz. The germans were in general better in this decade, with future Manager Sepp Herberger also playing in the 1925 matchup.
