Interesting to see the Australia 1974 cards - while Johnny Warren was the most popular and well-known player, Peter Wilson was the captain. Wilson eventually walked away from the game, and lives as a recluse south of Sydney. He has never attended any ex-Socceroo playe reunions.
Maybe you could do a series or a post on players who have turned their backs on the beautiful game?
