-During the halftime of Belgium’s match vs. Panam, Belgium Captain Eden Hazard apparently took Romelu Lukaku to task by telling him that it was difficult to play with ten men. This was designed to push him to perform and there was nothing mean about it according to Hazard. (Source Walfoot.be online)


-Iceland’s Johann Berg Gudmundsson has torn a calf muscle and his World Cup is in doubt. (Source Sky Sports online)

-Neymar restarted training with the rest of the Brazil group today . (Source L’Equipe online)

-Germany’s General Manager oliver Bierhoff has hit out on the attacks on the German squad, most notably those that he deemed as below the belt (and not only against Mesut Ozil). (Source L’Equipe online)

-Saudi Arabia Manager Juan Antonio Pizzi has made changes to his squad. Abdullah Al-Mayouf and Mohammed Al-Sahlawi and Omar Hawsawi are out of the squad for the match against Uruguay. They have been replaced in the starting lineup by Ali al-Bulayhi,  Abdullah al-Mayouf and Fahad Al-Muwallad. Pizzi has also removed Yahya Al-Shehri and replaced him with Hattan Bahebri.
