Castro González, Quini was a Spanish striker from the 70s and 80s.
He
was one of the greatest goalscorers of his Generation in the Spanish League.
He had a prolific career at Sporing Gijon before joining
Barcelona.
He was a member of Spain’s 1978 and 1982 World Cup
squads. He is also remembered foe being kidnapped in 1981.
He
earned 35 caps between 1970 and 1982.
He passed away on February 27th,
2018, aged 68 after a heart attack.
