International Season 1990/ 91, Part 3 (September 1990)


September

Brazil made its debut with new Manager paulo Roberto Falcao in a loss (0-3) at Spain.
Graham Taylor made his debut as England Manager in a friendly win over Hungary (1-0).
East Germany played for the last time ever in a friendly win over Belgium (2-0) with Mathias Sammer scoring twice.
Rinus Michels started his third spell as Holland Manager in a freindly loss in Palermo vs. Italy (0-1).
Dennis Bergkamp made his debut for Holland in that match coming on as a substitute.
The UEFA European qualifiers kicked off with Iceland-France on September 5th.
On September 16th , Josef Hickersberger announced his resignation as Austria manager, just days after a shock loss to Faroe Islands.
The tiny island nation were making their debut in the European qualifiers.
