-Juventus became Scudetto winners for the eighth straight season. They became the first team in the major Leagues to achieve this record. Cristiano Ronaldo also became the first player to win League titles in England, Spain and Italy.

-Massimiliano Allegri became the first Manager to win five straight Scudetti. This is his 6th personal (AC Milan title in 2011). He is now only behind Trappatoni as the Manager with most Scudetti (seven for Trappatoni). (Source BBC Football online)
