-The English FA have overturned Anwar El Ghazi (Aston Villa)’s ban after his sending off vs. Leeds. Instead, Leeds’ Patrick Bamford has been charged for ‘successful deception of a match official’ for getting El Ghazi sent off. (Source Onefootball online)

-In AC Milan’s match vs. Bologna, Milan Manager Gennaro Gattuso appeared to want to substitute in Tieumoue Bakayoko, but the player took too much to get ready and in anger Gattuso sent on Jose Mauri instead. -Juventus have lost their appeal to revoke the 2005-06 title attributed to Inter following the Calciopoli scandal. The Italian Olympic Committee (CONI) rejected this latest appeal.  (Source Football Italia online)

-Ecuador Referee Byron Moreno (notorious referee of 2002 WC South Korea-Italy match) has stood by his handling of the match and defended his decisions that were detrimental to Italy.
