-Antonio Conte is being linked as a possible Inter Manager for next season. According to a report, one of his demands is the removal and transfer of Mauro Icardi. (Source La Gazzetta dello Sport online)

-Stefano Pioli has resigned as Fiorentina Manager. He wrote an open letter to the fans, saying his “human capabilities” had been questioned. He is likely to be replaced by Vincenzo Montella. (Source La Gazzetta dello Sport online)

-The AC Milan-Lazio match ended in controversy as Milan’s Franck Kessie and Bakayoko celebrated and paraded with Francesco Acerbi’s exchanged jersey (he had exchanged with Bakayoko at the end of the match). Acerbi accused the pair of ‘fomenting hatred.’
The shirt exchange was as part of a peace offering as the two had locked horns in social media in the days leading up. Milan Manager Gattuso stated that Milan must apologize. Lazio’s Immobile described the Milan duo as “little men”. Giuseppe Pecoraro, the head of FIGC federal prosecutor’s office, is to send the video to a judge for a TV test. Italy’s Under-secretary of Council of Ministers Giancarlo Giorgetti described the gesture as “unworthy of the values of sport”.  Kessie and Bakayoko later apologized for their action.  (Source Calciomercato / BBC Football online)

Monday, April 15, 2019:

-Nicolo Zaniolo (Roma) has been linked with a transfer to Bayern Munich.  (Source Corriere dello Sport online)

-The likes of Antonio Cassano and Sinisa Mihajlovic have criticized Juventus for showing a lack of respect by fielding an under-strength side vs. SPAL. However, SPAL Manager Leonardo Simplici countered by saying he saw ‘Nine International players’ that day.  (Source Corriere dello Sport online)

-AS Roma players have been instructed not to take selfies with the entertainer Drake until the end of the season. This is due to the ‘Curse’ where players who have recently taken photos with him have ended up losing matches.  (Source Sport Bible online)
