Tuesday, April 2, 2019:

-Ole Gunnar Solskjaer responded to Louis van Gaal’s recent claims that Manchester United are ‘parking the bus’. He stated, “The foundation of any team is to play well without the ball”. He also added that he is grateful to have inherited a team brought by previous managers. (Source extra.ie online)

-Fulham were officially relegated after their loss at Watford. (Source Daily Mail online)

-During the ANTF forum, Jose Mourinho took a shot at Paul Pogba by referring to him as “his excellency” (though he did not directly name him). Apparently, Pogba after Manchester United’s match at Burnley wanted to drive back in his chauffeur driven car. (Source AS.com online)
Wednesday, April 3, 2019:

-A Jury failed to reach a verdict in the trial of Police Chief David Duckenfield accused in the 1989 Hillsborough Stadium disaster. (Source Reuters UK online)

-Roman Abramovich has no longer a corporate hospitality box at Stamford Bridge, for the first time in ten years. (Source Daily Mail online)

-Tottenham played for the first time in their new stadium and defeated Crystal Palace (2-0). Heung-min Son became the first ever goalscorer in the new stadium.

Friday, April 5, 2019:

-The Nazi salute charge against Crystal palace goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey was found not proven by an independent regulatory commission. He will face no punishment. (Source BBC Football online)

-Mohamed Salah has now scored his 50th Premier League faster than any Liverpool player.

Saturday, April 6, 2019:

Sunday, April 7, 2019:

-Kevin De Bruyne stated that the quadruple is virtually impossible to achieve for Manchester City. (Source L’Equipe online)    

-Gordon Strachan was released as a Sky Sports commentator after comparing recently released former player sex offender Adam Johnson’s plight with that of black players’ racial abuse. He later apologized for the comments. (Source BBC Football online)

Tuesday, April 2, 2019:
-Inter are set to take legal action against David Beckham’s Miami Franchise MLS team Inter Miami. This is to protect their trademark. (Source Calciomercato online)

-The Italian League has proposed its match dates for next season to the Federal Council. The League has eliminated matches during Christmas Holidays, with matches ending on December 22nd and resuming in early January. (Source Calciomercato online)

-Inter’s Curva Nord supporters are demanding the exclusion of Mauro Icardi. (Source AS.com online)

-In Juventus’ match at Cagliari, Moise Kean and Blaise Matuidi were subject to racist abuse from the fans. There was some controversy as Juventus’ Leonardo Bonucci stated that Kean was aprtly to blame for his provocative gesture after scoring (for which Manchester City’s Raheem Sterlong criticized Bonucci). -Cagliari President Tommaso Giulini denied there was any racial abuse directed to Moise Kean from Cagliari fans, instead blamed Moise Kean’s provocative celebration. He stated the fans would have reacted like that to any player celebrating like that. (Source onefootball online)
