International Season 1976/ 77, Part 1 (July 1976)


July

The 1976 Olympics in Montreal (Canada) took place. East Germany won the gold over the 1972 Champions Poland.
Future stars like Michel Platini lined up for France, as did Edinho and Junior for Brazil.

For Brazil, Spain, France, the Olympic matches are not Official, but the Eastern Bloc Nations (East Germany, Poland, USSR) considered these as Full Internationals.
