and especially Bayern Munich, where he won two Bundesliga titles.
He was capped at B and U-21 level, but full honors eluded him.

1980s Fiorentina defender was in Enzo Bearzot’s list of the
Provisional 40 players for the 1982 World Cup. In the end he did not make the
final 22 and was never capped at full International level.

French defender Jean-Guy Wallemme was a solid servant of
RC Lens for a decade and led the squad to the League title in 1998.
However, he was never called up for International duty.

Belgian midfielder Benoit Thans played for RFC Liege in the early
to mid 80s before transferring to French Club RC Lens and also had a spell at
Standard Liege.

Lee Chapman
English striker Lee Chapman played for many teams in the 80s-90s,
such as Arsenal, Sheffield Wednesday, Nottingham Forest. His best spell was at
Leeds United where he won the League Title in 1992.
He earned one B cap, but never achieved full honors.
