2-Italians Pietro Rava, Alfredo Foni, Sergio Bertoni and Ugo Locatelli are the only four Italian players to have won the World Cup and the Olympics Title.

3-Italy defender Alfredo Foni (November 20, 1911-January 28, 1985) would manage the Italian National Team (1954 to 1958). He would fail in qualifying the National Team for the 1958 World Cup.

He would also manage the Swiss National Team (1964-1967).

4-The following players appeared in the 1938 World Cup:

Italy: Sergio Bertoni, Pietro Rava, Alfredo Foni, Ugo Locatelli, Manager Vittorio Pozzo

5-Italian defender Pietro Rava (January 21, 1916- November 5, 2006) was the only player to have been alive during Italy’s four World Cup wins (1934, 1938, 1982, 2006).

He passed away just months after the 2006 triumph.
