He is immortalized for scoring Brazil’s wonderful fourth goal in the Final vs. Italy.
He played most notably at Santos and also played at New York Cosmos with Pele.
He later went into management and managed many clubs and also the Azerbaijani National Team.
He earned 53 caps between 1964 and 1977.
He passed away on October 25th , aged 72.

He passed away on January 6th, aged just 46.

Zacharie Noah 
Zacharie Noah  was a Cameroon defender from the 50s and 60s.
He was the father of French Tennis star Yannick Noah.
He is remembered for his spell at French club Sedan in the late 50s and early 60s.
He passed away on January 8th, aged 79.

Roberto Cabañas González 
Roberto Cabañas González  was a Paraguyan striker from the 80s and 90s.
He had many spells abroad, particularly at New York Cosmos, America Cali, Boca Juniors, Stade Brestois among others.
He earned 28 caps between 1981 and 1993.  He participated in the 1986 World Cup with Paraguay.
He passed away on January 9th from a heart attack, aged just 55.

François Van der Elst 
François Van der Elst  was a Belgian player from the 70s and 80s.
He stood out at Anderlcht and later had spells at New York Cosmos, West ham United and Lokeren.
He earned 44 caps between 1973 and 1983. 

He passed away on January 11th from Cardiac Arrest, aged 62.
