1:1 (14th minute, Spain): Spain were awarded their penalty kick after Alonso was fouled by Zajec in the box. Television replays showed that the foul actually occurred outside the box.

Ufarte missed the penalty kick, however the referee ordered it retaken because Pantelic had moved before the kick was taken. Juanito took the second kick and scored.
