Diary:
Tuesday, October 23, 2018:

-Prior to their UCL match, on Manchester United’s website there was a controversy as they referred to their opponents Juventus as ‘Rubentus’. This is a derogatory nickname used by Juventus rivals referencing their past with Calciopoli. (Source Calciomercato Online)

-Jose Mourinho (along with his coaching staff) walked half a mile to Old Trafford prior to Manchester United’s match vs. Juventus as once again the Manchester United bus was stuck in traffic.  (Source mirror.uk.co Online)

-When Juventus supporters were jeering Jose Mourinho during their UCL match, he held up his three fingers as a reference to the treble he had won with Inter in 2010.  (Source Tuttosport Online)

-Manchester United will contest FA’s charge against Jose Mourinho for his comments in Portuguese to Televison that they deemed abusive  . (Source BBC Football online)
Friday, October 26, 2018:

-Manchester United Manager Jose Mourinho has ruled out the possibility of re-signing Zlatan Ibrahimovic. (Source Sky Sports online)

-Manchester United Manager Jose Mourinho criticized National Teams for their treatment of Manchester United players during the International break, as most came back injured. (Source Sky Sports online)

-Chelsea have stated that Roman Abramovich does not intend to sell the club to Czech Billionaire Petr Kellner. (Source Daily Mail online)

-Tottenham will play their remainder of home matches of the calendar year at Wembley as their new stadium is sill not ready. (Source Sky Sports online)

-A number of Manchester United failed o show up at a sponsorship event. This was a sign of protest by them over a series of transportation issues on their travels. They are expected to be fined. (Source Daily Mail online)


Saturday, October 27, 2018:

- Eric Cantona stated that he ‘suffered’ watching Manchester United. He believes Manager Jose Mourinho is not a right for the club. He also hinted that Ryan Giggs might be a good choice as a future Manchester United Manager. (Source BBC Fotoball online)

-Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea still has not renewed his contract. He stated that he is concerned about the matches and results at the moment and not his contract. Many believe he has not signed as he is a potential target for Juventus. (Source vi.nl online)

-Former England Manager Glenn Hoddle collapsed at BT studios and was rushed to hospital. (Source Telegraph.co.uk online)

Monday, October 29, 2018:

-Leicester’s scheduled match in the League Cup vs. Southampton on Tuesday has been cancelled due to the death of owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha. (Source Daily Mail online)

-An escalator in a subway station in Rome ran out of control, prior to Roma’s UCL match vs. CSKA Moscow. This led to many injuries and scenes of horror as the incident was captured virally. (Source Mirror.co.uk online)

Wednesday, October 24, 2018:

-AC Milan have denied reports linking Roberto Donadoni as the next AC Milan Manager.  (Source Football Italia online)

-During a free kick in the Barcelona-Inter match, Inter’s Marcelo Brozovic anticipated that Luis Suarez would take his kick on ground level as he expected the players on the defensive wall would have jumped. Thursday, October 25, 2018:

-Juventus President Andrea Agnelli denied that Juventus had any knowledge of offensive banners from its fans that mocked the Superga Air Disaster. This stemmed from a Television report and the allegation dates from 2014 . (Source Football Italia online)
