International Season 1990/ 91, Part 5 (November 1990)


November

On November 1, 1990, Gheorge Constantinou announced his resignation as Romania manager.
On November 10, 1990, Mircea Radulescu was appointed as Romania manager.
Denmark lost a key Euro qualifier at home (0-2) to Yugoslavia.
On November 20, 1990, Brothers Michael and Brian Laudrup and Jan Bartram withdrew themselves from further selection while Richard Moller-Nielsen is in charge of the Danish National team.
Jan Bartram said he would like to make way for younger players.
Michael Laudrup said he no longer had any enthusiasm.
Brian Laudrup said he lacked respect for the manager.
Dennis Bergkamp scored his first goal for Holland in a Euro qualifier vs. Greece.
San Marino made its debut in competitive European competition in a home loss vs. Switzerland.
In Football terms, Germany was re-unified on November 22, 1990.
